FAST Maritime was designed to be the lightest helmet in the world that meets the fragmentation, structural, and environmental performance of the US Army Advanced Combat Helmet with 9mm backface deformation of less than 25.4 mm at 1200 f/s
The FAST Maritime helmet is made of a hybrid composite ballistic material which yields a shell weight reduction of 42% when compared to the traditional US Army ACH shell and further reduction of 20% when compared to the FAST High Cut XP helmet version
The helmet ear cut geometry is 16mm higher than the FAST High Cut shell shape, allowing for clearance of larger headset style communications devices
Same amount of head coverage / size as MICH 2002 "Gun-Fighter" model cut

Lightweight, multi-impact, ventilated liner with repositionable EPP impact pads and LDV closed-cell comfort foam that is not affected by temperature, altitude, or moisture
Occ-Dial adjustable fitband with replaceable leather front, nape, and side pads quickly detaches to allow convenient donning and doffing of COMs headsets with internal top headbands
Integrated Head-Loc chinstrap retention system gives helmet 4x more stability than standard issue ACH helmet suspension / retention products
